We define our success by looking at the success of our clients. With each patent, trademark and copyright we have obtained, we know that our clients are now in a position to move forward in business and innovation. We strive to go above and beyond the efforts of the ordinary intellectual property attorney by refusing to accept rejections of claims or whole applications and pursuing all avenues available to us. Many clients do not realize that in the face of opposition, attorneys may schedule appointments to discuss individual applications at the United States Patent and Trademark Office in Alexandria, Virginia with the assigned examiner. These individual meetings have proven very effective in providing insight into the specific hurdles that must be overcome before the examiner will consider issuing the patent. Of course our job does not always end at the issuance of the patent or trademark.
