InterContinental IP would like to congratulate our client and local inventor Corey Carrillo of Solana Beach, CA for a Patent Issued on his invention of a display rack.

This display rack is intended for the sale of removable textured deck applications for miniature skateboards. This invention relates to the general field of display racks, and more specifically, to a rack that can display textured deck applications for miniature skateboards which can also serve as a miniature test course for a prospective customer.

The display rack has a base heavy enough to keep the display rack upright, with one or more miniature skate park features such as quarter pipes, grind rails, ramps, steps, or other testing obstacles and surfaces upon which a finger skateboard can be used.  The testing surface is sloped downward to allow for advertising logos and other insignia to be affixed in a viewable location.

Patent Issued February 28, 2012; US Patent Number US 8,123,050 B2

Once again, congrats to Corey on his addition to his list of successes. For information on how to get a patent issued for your idea, visit the many resources on the internet or contact InterContinental IP for information.

Changeable Designs gets Patent Issued

ICIP is pleased to announce the first of several patents just issued for Cathy Connelly, Encinitas, CA  and Barbara Egan, Cardiff by the Sea, CA of  Changeable Designs.    The invention covers a mounting bracket for a horse bridle or dog collar, into which a user can attach a removable and interchangeable  decorative ornament.  This is a good way to make sure your dog or horse is never dissed by other dogs or horses for being out of style.

Indeed, we suspect that sometime in the future, some animal behavior Ph.D. will come up with a study showing that well-dressed animals have higher self-esteem than those whose owners do not keep their pets looking good.  Seriously through, Cathy and Barbara have been a pleasure to work with and we are glad to see them finally get their Patent issued.
